The St. Maarten Marine Trades Association introduced the new 2009-2010 Board members to the general membership on Thursday evening, May 28th 2009 at the association's Annual General Meeting, which took place at the St. Maarten Yacht Club.







James Roidis (Octopus Yacht Services) and long standing Board member  Kevin Gavin (F.K.G.) resigned from the Board and their spots were taken by Patrick Barrett (Yacht Club Port de Plaisance) and Lorraine Talmi (Wired Sailor). The rest of the Board remained unchanged with Dockside Management's Kass Johnson, Palapa Marina's Valeska Luckert, Dock Maarten's Brian Deher, Budget Marine's Robbie Ferron, NAPA's Michael Ferrier, Super Yacht Services' Lucille Frye and Island Global Yachting's Jeff Boyd as the association President.
Both resigning Board members were thanked for their time and hard work. Kevin Gavin who spent over 10 years as a Board member of the SMMTA was especially applauded and was handed a plaque in appreciation.
